That dog and her ears...
Woke up this morning and realized Emma had an infection in her ear that caused her ear to bubble up. Her ear wouldn't even lay flat it was so big!
Needless to say we had to take her to the doctor and now she is currently having surgery to remove the fluid filled pocket. Aye Aye Aye!
Which leads me to ask this one question...Why must anything medical have to be so stinking expensive! The estimate was over $500! When I told them there was no way we could afford that and that I would have to talk to my husband before moving forward the tech came back in and said they were able to do it for $450 and have a payment plan set up.
Really? A savings of $50? That's the best you could do!?! Oh well I guess I'll take what I can get but yikes! And no kidding you will set up a payment plan! I mean.... most of America cant just pull $500 out of their account and not blink an eye!
Oh Emma.... you better be glad this family loves you!!

Friday Fun Days Are Back!
If Gavin remembers anything about the time he got to spend at home with me, it would definitely be Friday Fun Days! He really looked forward to Friday and where we would be going. So.... there was no chance that he was going to let me forget about Friday Fun Day when our family made the decision for me to stay at home for the summer!
Today was record breaking heat... like 106 degrees! Too hot to do just about anything. With days this hot the only bearable thing to do is to be in the air conditioning. So we headed to the indoor playground. It's was really nice and the kids had a great time!

A day at the movies
Our movie theatre here does free movies during the summer on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. Megan had never been to an actual movie at a movie theatre so I thought this might be the best time to do it! If it failed I wouldn't be to terribly upset. So we set out this morning to see HOP. (A pretty cute movie if you ask me)
Megan did great! Didn't get restless until the last 20 minutes of the movie but even then she was quiet! I'm pretty sure the popcorn helped out with this!
