Gavin has become obsessed with trying to country line dance after going to a restaurant near us called the "Texas Roadhouse" He cracks us up but it was even funnier this weekend when he taught his cousin MacKenzie to dance along with him! She was too cute!

The camera was turned the wrong way so you have to watch it sideways but it is still cute!

For those of you wondering what happens when you mix the cotton eye joe song with tired and crazy dads.... this is what happens....

We are still alive....

It's been a while since I've been able to post but I have had a million things going on. We went to Ohio for the weekend for a funeral... then were back to celebrate Gavin's 3rd birthday... and now we are almost at Halloween! October has been quite the busy month for us!

Here are some pictures from Gavin's "John Deere" party. We had it at Marbles a place we went to on mommy and Gavin day that he fell in love with. It was a little bit stressful for mom (it's an OCD person's nightmare) but everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves! I even caught many of the parents playing!

The "John Deere " birthday cake

Eating some pizza with MacKenzie, Elle, and Ava

MacKenzie eating a sucker! Yum!

That was the right string... Way to go Brayden!!

Who needs cake? Gavin would rather eat the chocolate!

MacKenzie playing in the boat with Aunt Lala

Kevin and Tara playing a game

Gavin sawing some wood in the construction center

Where is John taking you...

John told Gavin he would take him to see the tractors and then go get ice cream... Gavin has been really excited and it has been great when he is misbehaving to remind him if he still wants to go he needs to act right

While we were at home Gavin was telling daddy where he was going to go with John.. he said "I'm going to see tractors and get ice cream with John.. he's the best!" It was so cute that I decided I would ask the same question on the way to dinner so I could tape it. One problem... the little rat refused to be "cute" again. He gave one word answers and didn't say anything close to what he said the first time. Grr.... sometimes I wish I had a tape recorder in my pocket all the time!

You would think they would get the hint...

You would think that if a 3 year old answered everytime you tried to sell someone something you would get the hint that you weren't ever going to get to talk to the people you called for right??

Nope... they just keep calling. And what do I do? Just keep letting Gavin talk to them :)

In this episode of "talk to Gavin" Gavin is annoyed by the caller and tells them they have the "hmm wrong number!" sorry it's a little dark

Crazy nights at the Stevens House

So... what exactly goes on in our house right before bed you ask???

Daddy trys to get Gavin all wired up before bed...

Daddy built a big wall all around Gavin.... then it was Gavin's turn to do what??? That's right knock it all down and send blocks flying everywhere! What a blast!!

Good idea you think right?? Yeah... it was until Gavin was told "all done" and then the temper tantrum came....

And daddy wonders why he doesn't want to go to bed....

Myrtle Beach

I haven't been able to post in a while. It seems like things are busy around here.

Last weekend we were able to meet Great Grandma, Grandpa, Gigi, Grandma, Aunt Janet, Uncle John, Uncle Ron, and Aunt Val at Myrtle Beach. We only stayed for one night and one day but we still had a great time!

Gavin had a blast going down the lazy river, making a sand castle, and flying a kite on the beach!

Great grandma and grandpa watched Gavin for about an hour and mommy and daddy got some alone time to walk on the beach together. It was really nice
