This Little Piggy...

I'm not sure whether Megan likes this toy or not! What I DO know is she will try to dance to any kind of music so it doesn't surprise me that she tried to dance while the pig was saying the nursery rhyme! This would make one think she liked the toy. Until she crawls over to it and holds its foot and won't let it kick it's feet up and down like it is suppose to do and then bites it's head! Wow! I'm gonna say she likes it though and these are just "love bites"! :)

A new way to take a bath!

Megan used to take a bath in this....

Until she got too big for the infant side and entirely too nosey for the toddler side!

Now she can be nosey AND take a bath.... because now she can take a bath in this....

Her new bath seat for the big bathtub that she LOVES!!

She was a little annoyed that her brother insisted on taking a bath with her the 1st time

But mommy told her she could play with all his toys and hers too!

And this made one happy Megan!!

Visiting, Visiting, Visiting...

The last several weeks our family has been crazy busy

It started with a stressful trip to Chicago for Rachel's (Matt's cousin) wedding. Let's just say this family HATES Delta Airlines! We'll stick with Southwest! The trip was a nightmare but the wedding was beautiful. Gavin did a wonderful job being a ring bearer! Congrats to Rachel and Phil!

The best part of the trip for Gavin.... getting to stay at a hotel with a pool! Megan didn't mind either!

No trip would be complete without a game of spoons!

Then we came home and headed straight to the Outer Banks for a vacation with Matt's brother and his family! We were so fortunate that they allowed us to piggyback on their vacation!!

It was really nice just to relax and have no set plans!

When we got home we relaxed for a few days and then my sister and her girls came for a visit before my niece started her intense gymanastic schedule! We went on the boat and just hung out! It's always fun haning out with my sis!

And Megan does so love her Kendyll....

Now it's recovery time... back to reality...  well until July when we go to Lake Gaston!!

Sometimes you just don't ask...

Gavin goes "backpacking" in the backyard just about everyday now! (A big thank you to his daddy for that) Why he decided that this was his backpacking outfit... I don't know. I didn't ask... I just laughed!

Diamonds are a girl's best friend...

I've wanted to get Megan's ears pierced for a long time now but I just couldn't work of the nerve to hold my baby and listen to her cry as I allowed strangers to put holes in her ears! I mean I cry when she gets shots!

  Luckily, Uncle Kevin and Daddy aren't as much as a softy as mommy is... so..... they took her to get her ears pierced! I must say... she looks awfully cute!! Thanks Uncle Kevin and Daddy!

June is crazy busy!

Tis that time of year... June has always been a busy month in our family but this time it's even crazier! Onto the birthday's and anniversaries we've added a wedding in Chicago, a week at the beach with Matt's brother, and a week of classes in Miami for Matt. I think I'll be able to count on 2 hands the number of nights in June I will have been with my husband!

This past week we went to Maryland for birthdays. We use to do 2 weekend visits but that was almost more exhausting than just staying for the week. Gavin really enjoyed having a playmate and of course getting to swim at Kennedy's birthday party. Megan enjoyed never being put down and getting constant attention. (I'm currently trying to fix that problem)

It was pretty busy so I didn't really take many pictures but here are a few!
