What could be so important??

While playing in Megan's room I heard the phone ring. I jumped up and ran to the other side of the house (yes I know... I really need a phone on both sides but hey at least I get exercise!) to get the phone. When I came back Megan had left her room. That's right in 1 minute flat the girl was gone!

What could be so important that one would leave a room full of fun toys like this....

in 1 minute flat you ask??

Why..... the FAR more exciting room across the hall!

Who would want to play with those toys when you can crawl to your brother's room and play with

his geotrax! It is far more fun to destroy your brother's train as it comes around the track he just spent 20 minutes putting together!

After all everything is better when you are with your big brother right??

Why don't you sell this?

Ever get taste of your own medicine?

The last few weeks I've been going on a cleaning frenzy. I've been trying to tell Gavin that if he wants new toys he needs to choose some of the ones he doesn't play with so we can sell them. (He has no desire to sell anything except for the ridiculous amount of happy meal toys he has which we all know that every family doesn't want either!)

The other day Gavin was doing one of his chores. Arranging the shoes in the shoe closet. While going through the shoes Gavin found a pair of my flip flops I hadn't wore in a while to which he said...

"Hey mom! I haven't seen you wear these shoes in a while... maybe you should sell these? What do ya think about that?"

Wow... nothing like getting a taste of your own medicine!

Once a favorite toy... always a favorite toy

Gavin LOVED playing with this Fisher Price house. He used to make the door open and shut about a million times! I can't even begin to say how many games of peek a boo were played through that door. Well, last week we got it out of the attic and it has become a favorite toy of Megan's as well. I see alot of peek a boo games in my future!

Family Picture Time...

We went to get our family pictures done tonight and it was definitely stressful. Trying to get 4 people to look decent in a picture is easier said than done. Especially when 2 of those 4 are under the age of 5! Megan cried for most of it because she just wanted to play with my necklace! However, we did get some ok shots. I'll have to schedule her individual pictures at a later time. Family pictures were enough for tonight! Here is what we got!
